Sizing File Folders and Content in them

Folders should function as containers, not visual boxes. Users shouldn’t have to resize folders to fit content—the system should automatically manage and contain files like a standard file directory.”

    To expand on the above…

    Resizing Folder:

Why do I have to click the bottom-right corner to resize a folder/group? Why can’t I do so from any corner? Add that. It’s cumbersome to resize folders.

    Double-Click to open/close folders/groups:

Why can’t I double-click a folder to open it? Why can’t i click > drag > drop multiple assets into a folder? Give me shortcuts too - CTRL+X, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, etc. I want to move or copy assets from one folder to another.

When I copy an external asset into an open folder, that relationship doesn’t hold. I have to select the copied asset and then move it into the same open folder so the system recognizes it as being in that folder. Let me copy URLs or files from my local PC into an open folder so this association is recognized.

The Basic File Explorer's capabilities are extremely limited and time-consuming to use for organization. Full Stop.

    Serious Z-Index Bugs:

Chats overlap groups, assets under them, etc. You need to take a serious pass on the z-indexing. An open folder should sit above everything below it. Currently, an open folder/group that loses focus will display any assets under it. This makes it difficult to tell what’s in the open folder (group) vs. outside it. When you’ve got multiple folders open, with assets scattered everywhere, it’s impossible to tell what’s contained where.

    Align/Organize Assets within Groups:

Let me right-click a folder > align assets. So everything snaps into a clean grid. I’m constantly moving and aligning assets inside folders manually - PITA.

Assign AI Notes to a Folder:

It’s great that this feature exists at an asset level - better if it were applied to a folder, which would then apply that instruction to all assets in the folder/group. EG: This folder contains a series of Blogs on Topic X. Why do i have to select every URL in a folder and assign the note there? Sure, the workaround is to add a note to the group, but it's not as convenient.
